Dennis Ritchie

Dennis Ritchie is nationally recognized as a safety professional with more than twenty seven years experience in commercial transportation safety, driver training, federal and state compliance, transportation industry standards and practices and motor carrier related topics.  His employment as Director of Personnel, Director of Safety, Vice President of Safety, Consultant and Corporate Safety Advisor with Swift Transportation, Inc., the largest truckload carrier in the nation, has advanced his achievements as a certified Director of Safety.  He has received personal, company, state and national awards including the prestigious “Claire C. Casey Jr., Safety Advocate Award” that recognizes a person whose actions and achievements have a profound and positive benefit or contribution to better safety on the U.SA. highways.  His experience in Military Reserves, as a Certified Polygraph Examiner and as a law enforcement officer have contributed to his foundation as an expert and leader in the transportation industry. Mr. Ritchie currently provides business consulting and expert witness services for motor carriers, insurance companies and law firms.
